Chef Simone is 28 generations Roman and from a family of chefs.
So, he was born and raised in the kitchen!
At thirteen he started working in a restaurant and later graduated from the International Chef School of Rome. Since then he has worked abroad and in Rome at prestigious restaurants, hotels and as a private chef for the US Embassy.
His aim is to give you a unique “taste” of Rome and have you experience his traditions & customs through a deep immersion at typical off the beaten track areas.
Needless to say how much he is passionate about his job and it shows!
Market Tour
Visit one of the last true local markets in Rome. Walk through experiencing local flare as you stop at various stands and taste their speciality cheeses, salami, sandwiches, desserts and local wine.

Food Roman Experience Tour

The tour goes as follows: visit one of the city’s last true local markets. As you stroll through the market you learn about local food traditions and try delicious artisan cheeses, salami, olives and more. The tour continues at a typical wine bar (enoteca) where you sit and taste 4 wonderful wines accompanied with cheeses. Afterwards, you go to a fantastic local restaurant to have a lunch based on Roman specialties. Lastly, you will try the best gelato in Rome.
Ice Cream Making
Go backstage at one of the oldest, most established ice cream parlors in Rome and learn hands-on how to make gelato with the experts themselves. Afterwards, you get to serve your homemade gelato to the parlor’s clientele and hear all their praise. At the end, you can rest and enjoy as much gelato as you wish. It is truly an unforgettable experience!
Vineyard Tour
The name of “Castelli Romani” refers to the wine-producing hill-towns south east of Rome.
The cool climate of the vineyards makes it possible to produce their famous wines.
Walk through an unbelievable experience in a prestigious winery discovering the vineyard and an exclusive bottling cellar with Roman ruins inside.
You enjoy the ambience as you taste different wines and “extra vergine” olive oil of their own production.
Artisan Workshops Tour

Cooking Lessons
You begin the lesson at one of the last true local markets in Rome. Strolling through the market you decide on a menu together according to seasonal products available.
