When I let my apartments as holiday accomodation I aim to offer my guests an extension of my home, to have a taste of my Roman life style.
I hope they enjoy sitting on the living room sofa, gazing out of the windows at the ochre-coloured façade of the princely Palazzo Torlonia, which is so beautifully illuminated at night.
From my windows my guests can follow the comings and goings at the Hotel d’Inghilterra; browse the shops windows as they step out the front door on their way to have a cappuccino at Caffè Greco, just a few yards away in the historical via Condotti; buy fresh fruit at the farmers markets in via Bocca di Leone or via Tomacelli, bread and crispy pizza right out of the oven of the F.lli Fabbi gourmet shop in via della Croce.
I pride myself in making my guests feel like they’re living in their own home by providing them with all the comforts they are used to… plus a little bit more: they have all the utilities of a comfortable home with the special pleasure of being hidden from the public eye.
I sincerely hope that when my guests leave, their memories will not fade with time and that they would wish to return to the Eternal City as soon as possible.
